Live Video Production Coordinator

Black Hills State University is seeking applicants for a Live Video Production Coordinator in the Athletics department. 

DUTIES: 

• Manage and execute all aspects of game-day productions for BHSU Athletics home events, including live stream broadcasts, public address scripts, music playlists, video playback, and in-game entertainment. Coordinate with athletics staff, broadcasters, student workers, and event personnel to ensure high-quality fan experience and professional event presentation. 

• Provide oversight and operational leadership for all videoboard and scoreboard systems at BHSU athletic venues. Develop and schedule game presentation content, supervise and train student production staff, ensure accurate and timely display of scoring and statistical information, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain equipment and software necessary for successful event operations. 

• Lead the planning, production, and post-production of creative video projects to enhance BHSU Athletics. Film and edit promotional videos, recruiting content, student-athlete features, highlight packages, season recaps, social media campaigns, and special-event productions. 

• Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), work well with a team, assist across all areas of athletics and collaborate with campus and community partners. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s degree 

• 1-3 years’ experience 

• Knowledge of and experience in the operation of video equipment to include video board, digital design software, communications, AV software, hardware, and digital mixers.
