What You'll Do

As an Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the health and success of Blackburn's NCAA Division III student-athletes by:

  • Preventing, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating athletic injuries.

  • Providing athletic training coverage for practices and home competitions.

  • Assisting with pre-participation physicals and medical clearances.

  • Working closely with team physicians and campus partners to provide comprehensive care.

  • Supervising student workers and helping maintain an organized, efficient athletic training facility.

  • Supporting the overall well-being of student-athletes through a team-centered approach.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree. 

  • NATA BOC Certification (or eligible), Illinois License Eligible.

  • Ability to work weekends and evenings and flexible hours.
