Ticketing and Digital Communications Specialist

Qualifications:

·                Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Sport Management, Marketing, or other related field)

·                At least one year of sport industry experience in marketing, ticketing, or game operations OR one year of email marketing experience

•         Can be at the undergraduate level

·                Must be a dependable, punctual, and trustworthy self-starter

·                Ability to work independently on several projects in a fast-paced, rigorous environment

·                Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

·                Experience with Microsoft Office, email marketing, as well as a variety of social media platforms is preferred

 

Responsibilities:

·                Oversee email marketing efforts for the BGSU Ticket Office, which includes but not limited to, development of email campaigns and ticketing communications, and proper segmenting of customer lists for targeted messaging

•         Examples: Ticket Sales campaigns, weekly newsletter, Know Before You Go

·                Oversee our mass texting system to communicate to fans

·                Develop, post, and update ticket informational pages on website

·                Work with Strategic Communications, Video Services, Creative Services and Marketing staffs to effectively promote and market BGSU Athletics with a strong emphasis on engagement and revenue generation

·                Coordinate with Falcon Club on email/text messaging to donors that drives fundraising, engagement, and stewardship

·                Build and maintain collaborative relationships with coaches and fellow staff members

·                Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Ticket Operations Manager

 

Position Terms:

·                Anticipated Start Date: August 1, 2026

·                Compensation: $18 per hour over 12 months. This is a non-benefited position.

·                Hours are 24 hours per week, and may fluctuate due to nature of game schedules
