
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Plan, organize, and conduct daily training sessions specifically designed for goalkeepers
Develop and implement drills to improve technique, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental strength of goalkeepers
Provide individual coaching and feedback to goalkeepers
Evaluate goalkeeper performance during training and games
Game day preparation
Assisting the head coach with the administration and leadership of the women’s soccer program
Assisting with team travel
Assisting with on-campus recruiting visits
Assisting with equipment management
Video analysis
Support with academic progress of student athletes
Representing East Texas A&M with professionalism
Help with fundraising and promotional activities
Helping ensure team compliance with all NCAA and Southland Conference rules and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Enrollment or acceptance into a graduate program at the university
Previous goalkeeping experience as a player or coach
Previous soccer coaching experience or knowledge of the game on the collegiate level
Good organizational skills
Good interpersonal communication skills
Fundamental computer skills
Benefits
Stipend: $1066 a month for 10 months (August-May) Position can be renewed for a second year if successful candidate meets or exceeds expectations during 2026-2027 academic year.
Credit Hours: 18 hours of graduate classes per academic year (up to 6 hours guaranteed paid per fall and spring semester, additional hours may be offered)
