Assistant Soccer Coach-Goal Keepers

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Plan, organize, and conduct daily training sessions specifically designed for goalkeepers

• Develop and implement drills to improve technique, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, and mental strength of goalkeepers

• Provide individual coaching and feedback to goalkeepers

• Evaluate goalkeeper performance during training and games

• Game day preparation

• Assisting the head coach with the administration and leadership of the women’s soccer program

• Assisting with team travel

• Assisting with on-campus recruiting visits

• Assisting with equipment management

• Video analysis

• Support with academic progress of student athletes

• Representing East Texas A&M with professionalism

• Help with fundraising and promotional activities

• Helping ensure team compliance with all NCAA and Southland Conference rules and regulations

• Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Enrollment or acceptance into a graduate program at the university

• Previous goalkeeping experience as a player or coach

• Previous soccer coaching experience or knowledge of the game on the collegiate level

• Good organizational skills

• Good interpersonal communication skills

• Fundamental computer skills

Benefits

Stipend:  $1066 a month for 10 months (August-May) Position can be renewed for a second year if successful candidate meets or exceeds expectations during 2026-2027 academic year.

Credit Hours: 18 hours of graduate classes per academic year (up to 6 hours guaranteed paid per fall and spring semester, additional hours may be offered)
