
Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a Full-Time Contractual Exempt Assistant Football Coach position to begin in April. 2026.
The following benefits will be available on an annual basis:
· University System of Maryland Tuition Remission program.
· Five (5) days of annual leave
· Specific Holidays
· Three (3) days of sick leave
· May participate in the State Health Insurance programs (medical, prescription and/or dental, etc.) that are available to State employees. Staff working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for the applicable state subsidy for medical and prescription coverage.
FSU boasts 25 varsity sports (11 men/14 women) at the NCAA Division II level that compete in the Mountain East Conference and the East Coast Conference.
Responsibilities: Coach and develop the Quarterback position group while working as a collaborative member of the offensive staff. Assist the Offensive Coordinator with game plan, on the field coaching at practice and on game day. Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success. Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Other related duties assigned by the Head Football Coach.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one-three years of coaching or other related work experience. Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications: Five years of coaching experience, and Quarterback coaching experience.
