ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist with daily functions of the Athletics Department
Serve as liaison between the Athletics Department and members of the print and broadcast media, both local and national
Coordinate all Athletics Department print and digital publications and promotional materials
Coordinate, maintain and keep current all information on the athletics website
Provide all necessary, required and appropriate sports information to the Mid-South Conference and NAIA
Supervise all aspects of athletic event media broadcasts
Attend meetings representing the Athletics Department as necessary and assigned.
Recruit, train, supervise and coordinate student assistants
Coordinate photography and videography, as required
Coordinate and maintain statistical information related to team and individual performance, and maintain historical records
Run/coordinate all home events and any postseason tournaments where Georgetown is the host institution
Plan production of internet broadcasts including schedules, talent, and equipment
Responsible for scheduling all personnel needed for press box or scorer’s table at all home events.

Manage student crews for internet productions
Coordinates content creation for social media platforms

Education and / or Experience – Bachelors’ degree (B. A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or business school required (advanced degree preferred); and one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Communication / Language -- Excellent oral and written communications skills, interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively with groups and/or individuals.
Mathematical -- Ability to calculate figures and amounts as in discounts, interest, commissions, proportions or percentages
Reasoning -- Ability to apply common sense in carrying out instructions provided in written, oral or diagram form; ability to independently resolve problems
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – None required
Computer Literacy / General Office Equipment – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel. Word, Outlook. PowerPoint), Internet. Basic office equipment to include facsimile, copier machines, printer, calculator.
Technology – Have an up to date and working knowledge of all technology related to: stat entry, video broadcasts, social media, etc.
