Director of Athletic Communications

The purpose of the Director of Athletic Communications is to oversee and lead the communications and marketing efforts of the athletic department, through both print and digital means. The Director of Athletic Communications will provide managerial leadership in support of the athletic department in many facets, including but not limited to: sports information, marketing, web design, digital content creation, game management, and event management. The Director of Athletic Communications will lead and oversee the game management of all home athletic events, including the scheduling and management of game staff, fan interaction, livestream, and other media relations requirements.

This position requires time spent on campus, select venues off campus for Jessup events, with occasional remote work available with supervisor approval.

This position is considered academic-year and is paid for 11 months over 12 months with one month off, generally in the summer. The pay range for this position is generally: $65,000-$70,000 annually. Individual pay is generally determined by a number of factors including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training and location.
