Head Women’s Field Hockey Coach

Juniata College invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Field Hockey Coach. This role provides leadership and direction for a competitive NCAA Division III program that values academic excellence, student development, and sportsmanship.

The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the women’s field hockey program, including team culture, practice and competition planning, player development, recruiting, budget management, and compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies. The position also includes mentoring assistant coaches and student staff, supporting student-athlete academic success, and contributing to the broader goals of the Athletics Department.

Juniata is a coeducational, residential liberal arts college with approximately 1,300 students and a proud member of the Landmark Conference. The College is deeply committed to an athletics model that supports the academic mission and holistic development of student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and Division III philosophy

• 3–5 years of collegiate coaching and/or playing experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, teach, and manage a competitive program

Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary is $53,400, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement (403b), paid time off, tuition benefits, wellness programming, and additional insurance options.
