JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Graduate Assistant reports to the Sr. Associate AD for Development & External Strategy and collaborates with the Sports Information staff. This position supports marketing, fan engagement, and revenue generation efforts for 14 NCAA Division II programs.

MAJOR DUTIES

Assist with development and execution of marketing plans for athletic programs.

Support game day promotions, sponsorship activation, and fan engagement initiatives.

Collaborate with communications staff on social media campaigns and branding.

Assist with ticket sales strategies and promotional campaigns.

Coordinate in-game entertainment, scripts, and fan experiences.

Assist with corporate partnership fulfillment and community outreach.

Support special events, fundraising initiatives, and external relations efforts.

Follow and abide by all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION

Strong communication, creativity, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of marketing, promotions, and fan engagement strategies.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in office settings and athletic venues with required evenings and weekends.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

Admission to a graduate program at Northeastern State University

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in sports marketing, promotions, or external relations

Familiarity with social media and graphic design tools

Compensation includes tuition waiver for graduate classes, on-campus housing waiver, and a monthly stipend.
