About this Position

Evaluate prospective student-athletes' academic credentials to determine their likelihood to meet initial-eligibility, transfer and progress-toward-degree requirements. Monitor their on-going progress toward meeting these requirements. Coordination and monitoring of the admissions process of prospective student-athletes. Serve as an educational resource to coaches on NCAA legislation. Coordinate the gathering and input of data related to the proper submission of student-athlete academic records for the NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) and Graduation Success Rate (GSR) programs Develop and maintain a comprehensive APR projection process on each of the institution's sports programs. Conduct rules education sessions for selected groups and utilize social media to educate all constituents of applicable NCAA rules and institutional policies. Review prospects' and students' status for eligibility for commitments and participate in try-outs. Projects assigned by Senior Associate AD for Compliance. Prepare reports and waivers for submission to NCAA and Conference Office. Light travel is required in performance of this job. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background investigation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

  • Two years experience working in Athletics Administration support, NCAA Compliance, or a closely related field.
