
Preferences:
Bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of five years of collegiate wrestling officiating experience.
Expert knowledge of the NCAA Wrestling Rulebook and officiating mechanics.
Strong computer and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assign officials to RMAC and non-conference contests.
• Serve as a liaison between the RMAC and officials for the purpose of interpreting relevant rules.
• Develop and implement an approved officials’ evaluation system.
• Utilize RefQuest to assign, pay, and evaluate officials.
• Recruit and select qualified officials to join the RMAC roster of officials.
• Implement conference policies as established by the RMAC, including sportsmanship directives.
• Conduct annual rules/mechanics clinics and meetings for officials, observers, and coaches as needed.
• Make an annual report to the RMAC Commissioner and Women’s Wrestling coaches on performance and roster
changes.
• Attend RMAC Championship and make determination on conference and NCAA post-season assignments.
• Upon request, provide officials to meet with teams to discuss rules interpretations.
• Make recommendations to RMAC Commissioner on officials’ fees, game administration and related matters.
• Administer required NCAA Division II and RMAC incident procedures.
• Develop relationships and communicate regularly with the national coordinator and Secretary Rules Editor.
• Other duties and expectations as assigned by the conference office.
