This position requires a great deal of mobility and some physical exertion. While the day-to-day operations are based in the office, the person in this position travels with some of the teams and moves operations to a variety of venues, both on-campus and off-campus. This includes working from press box and press row areas, sometimes located high above the venue. Some of the facilities do not have any kind of access other than stairs to the top of the stadium or arena. At some home events, for instance, this position works on the floor of the arena and also monitors video equipment located near the top of the arena, requiring several trips up-and-down the stairways and sometimes in a great deal of hurry. This position also carries quite a bit of equipment to-and-from each venue's workspace, such as copies, fax machines, printers and laptops and other work materials.
