Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Direct and oversee all aspects of the women’s flag football program, including daily operations, practice planning, and game preparation.
Serve as teacher, mentor, and role model for student-athletes in alignment with Thiel’s mission.
Recruit, retain, and graduate quality student-athletes while consistently meeting or exceeding established roster goals.
Develop and implement a strategic recruiting plan that expands the program’s reach and visibility.
Monitor academic performance, social behavior, and personal growth of student-athletes.
Build and maintain a competitive competition schedule in collaboration with the Director of Athletics.
Manage the program’s budget with integrity and fiscal responsibility.
Coordinate fundraising initiatives and alumni engagement activities.
Promote community service involvement for student-athletes and staff.
Collaborate with Student Life to design and deliver a vibrant intramural and club sports program.
Hire, train, and supervise student workers and officials to support recreation and club activities.
Ensure compliance with all NCAA Division III, Presidents’ Athletic Conference, and institutional rules and guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2–3 years of successful coaching experience (football, flag football, or related sport).
Demonstrated competence in recruiting, program building, and student-athlete development.
Experience in intramural, recreation, or club sports administration preferred.
Strong commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate integrity in all aspects of coaching and administration.
