Women's Golf Graduate Assistant

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) seeks a Women’s Golf Graduate Assistant who will serve under the direction of the Head Coach. This position will assist in a number of capacities including practice planning and execution, coordinating operations and travel for the program, recruiting, community service opportunities, and other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Assisting the head coach with planning and implementation of daily practices

• Coordination of operations, planning travel, per diem, meals and itineraries

•  Contribute to weekly staff meetings

•  Recruiting - In collaboration with the head coach

•  Coaching - In collaboration with the head coach

•  Coordinating community service opportunities

•  Assist with the management of equipment and travel

•  Assist with NCAA compliance reporting and academic monitoring

•  Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

•  Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education

•  Regular admission to a UA Little Rock graduate program or good standing with the UA Little Rock Graduate School for continuing graduate students

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•  Ability to work effectively with student-athletes

•  Previous golf experience

•  Effective communication skills
