Coordinator, Facilities, Events and Operations

The Coordinator for Facilities, Events, and Operations supports the daily management and execution of facility operations and athletic events for 16 Division I sports programs. This role works closely with internal staff and external partners to ensure efficient event coordination, facility upkeep, and operational excellence.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate scheduling, setup, and breakdown for internal and external events 

  • Serve as a liaison with third-party vendors and service providers 

  • Manage gameday operations and event execution for assigned sports 

  • Oversee parking operations for all football home games 

  • Develop and manage staff onboarding processes and facility access control systems 

  • Assist in planning and coordinating facility-related projects 

  • Conduct weekly facility walkthroughs using standardized checklists 

  • Monitor and manage FMX work orders to ensure timely completion 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 

  • At least one (1) year of relevant professional experience 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in facilities, events, or operations within intercollegiate athletics 

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 

  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity, professionalism, and compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations

Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
