Part-Time Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Are you looking to break into collegiate strength & conditioning? The University of Missouri–St. Louis is seeking an energetic, driven, and passionate coach who wants to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact on NCAA Division II student-athletes. 

This is more than just a part-time position—it's an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in every aspect of a collegiate strength and conditioning program. You'll work directly alongside the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, helping train multiple varsity sports while learning how to build, implement, and manage a comprehensive athletic performance program.

This position is designed for coaches who want to become outstanding strength and conditioning professionals. 

You'll receive valuable experience in: 

  • Programming for multiple NCAA Division II sports  

  • Speed, agility, and change-of-direction training  

  • Plyometric and power development  

  • Performance testing and athlete evaluations  

  • Return-to-play progressions  

  • Performance tracking and sports technology  

  • Athlete monitoring and data management  

  • Communication with sport coaches and sports medicine staff  

  • Facility management and weight room operations  

  • Leadership and coaching development  

  • Building a championship training culture  

 

This position offers significant mentorship and professional growth that will prepare the successful candidate for future graduate assistantships and full-time collegiate strength & conditioning positions.
