
Director of Women's Basketball Video

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Director of Video for Women’s Basketball. This position is responsible for all video and technology duties related to the women’s basketball program and will report directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Specifically, he/she will be tasked with all filming duties, including ensuring all games and practices are filmed; editing and reviewing all video; exchanging film; assisting coaches with scouting and game preparation, player/team analysis, individual player evaluations, and recording and editing team-specific or event highlights.
Assists with direction of a large department or multiple, small departments within Athletics. Assists with and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and objectives. Maintains budget, authorizes expenditures, and certifies reports. Assists with strategic planning and other department-wide projects.
Essential Functions
Coaches’ Video: Responsible for all matters pertaining to coaches’ self and opponent video as well as team and individual player evaluations and analytics. Requires organizing and executing video to each coach. Scouting Reports and Self Scout: Responsible for developing and implementing scouting reports to the team and coaches. Technology: Responsible for troubleshooting technology issues in a timely manner for Women’s Basketball staff. Other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and assistant coaches.

Sitting (desk, computer, and video work and meetings): 50%. Standing and walking (campus tours, attendance at events): 50%. Lifting: >25lbs: 30%.
