Assistant AD For Major Gifts

The Assistant Athletic Director for Major Gifts is responsible for securing significant philanthropic support for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of high-capacity donors and prospects. This position manages a portfolio of approximately 90-125 individuals capable of making major philanthropic gifts (typically $50,000+), with a focus on advancing athletics priorities including capital projects, endowments, and programmatic initiatives. The role requires a strategic, relationship-driven approach and close collaboration with athletics leadership and university advancement. All philanthropic gifts are charitable in nature and are not contingent upon ticket purchases, seating, or other transactional benefits.
