Women's Volleyball Head Coach

Wingate University is seeking a Head Women’s Volleyball Coach to lead its NCAA Division II program. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for all aspects of the women’s volleyball program, including coaching, recruiting, player development, academic success, program administration, and NCAA compliance.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage all facets of the women’s volleyball program.

• Recruit, develop, and retain student-athletes who align with Wingate’s academic and athletic standards.

• Plan and conduct practices and competitions to achieve competitive success.

• Monitor academic progress and support student-athlete development.

• Oversee program administration, including scheduling, travel, budgeting, and equipment.

• Supervise assistant coaches and support staff.

• Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and university rules.

• Represent the program positively within the university and community.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).

• Volleyball coaching experience at the collegiate or high-level club level.

• Strong recruiting, leadership, and communication skills.

• Commitment to NCAA compliance and student-athlete well-being.
